It was August 9th, 2019, and I found myself lying on the sharp gravel floor, bleeding out from an open-compound fracture following a Vespa accident in Mykonos, Greece. Panic filled the air as my ex and his family rushed from the other side of the road. Realizing we had no cell signal, didn't speak a word of Greek, and had no clue what the emergency number was, my eyes drifted onto the majestic Mediterranean Sea. I started accepting what I thought was my final fate. Sitting in that stillness, I asked myself three defining questions: Era el 9 de agosto de 2019 y me encontraba tendido sobre el suelo de grava, desangrándome por una fractura expuesta tras un accidente en Vespa en Miconos, Grecia. In that quiet moment, I learned that the answer to all three was a solid yes, and I experienced a heavenly gratitude within me that allowed me to leave with grace rather than anger. But just as I was getting ready to utter my final words to my spouse and his family, a car appeared out of thin air and a nurse stepped out. Saved by pure grace, I vowed right there to change my entire life—to live a life built strictly on God, Purpose, and Humanity. This is why August 10th became the day I launched my website: to honor the rebirth of something greater, all through the glory, grace, and love of God. En ese instante, descubrí que la respuesta a las tres era un sí rotundo, y sentí una gratitud celestial que me permitió aceptar mi partida con gracia y sin ira. Pero justo cuando me disponía a decir mis últimas palabras, un automóvil apareció de la nada y una enfermera bajó de él. Salvado por pura gracia, en ese mismo instante prometí cambiar mi vida entera: vivir una vida basada en Dios, Propósito y Humanidad. Por eso el 10 de agosto lanzamos este sitio web, para honrar el renacer de algo más grande a través de la gloria, la gracia y el amor de Dios.

And while my dream is to visit every country, it’s only right that I start with who I am: a Latino American. Neither strictly Latino nor strictly American—but both, proudly. Y aunque mi sueño es recorrer cada país del mundo, es correcto empezar por lo que soy: un Latinoamericano. Ni únicamente latino, ni únicamente estadounidense, sino ambos, con orgullo.
